Turbocharger Air Intake Tube

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the clean air hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

3. Unlock and disconnect the inlet air temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector (1).
4. Disconnect the fuel vapor purge hose quick-coupling (2) from the turbocharger air intake tube.

5. Unlock and disconnect the crankcase pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).

6. Loosen the band clamp (1a) and remove the turbocharger air intake tube (1b) from the turbocharger with the IAT sensor and crankcase pressure sensors attached.
7. If required, remove the IAT sensor from the turbocharger air intake tube.
8. If required, remove the bolt and the crankcase pressure sensor bracket with the sensor attached.

INSTALLATION 

1. If removed, install the crankcase pressure sensor bracket with the sensor attached to the turbocharger air intake tube and securely tighten the bolt.
2. If removed, install and securely tighten the IAT sensor to the turbocharger air intake tube.
3. Install the turbocharger air intake tube to the turbocharger and tighten the band clamp.
4. Connect and lock the crankcase pressure sensor wire harness connector.
5. Connect the fuel vapor purge hose quick-connect fitting.
6. Connect and lock the inlet air temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector.
7. Install the clean air hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
