Up/Down And Left/Right Adjustment

Remove the liftgate scuff trim. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL .
Loosen the hinge to liftgate bolts (1).

Loosen the striker screws (2).
Adjust the liftgate up/down position and tighten the hinge bolts to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . for adjustment specifications. Refer to GAP AND FLUSH, SPECIFICATIONS .
Confirm the lower liftgate in/out position and tighten the striker screws to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the liftgate scuff plate trim. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, LIFTGATE, INSTALLATION .
