Bulb - Halogen Headlamp
CAUTION:
Do not contaminate the bulb glass by touching it with your fingers or by allowing it to contact other oily surfaces. Shortened bulb life will result.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- If replacing the bulbs for the left front lamp unit, remove the engine air filter housing. Refer to the appropriate service information .
- If replacing the bulbs for the right front lamp unit, remove the coolant recovery bottle or the pressurized coolant bottle and position aside Refer to BOTTLE, COOLANT RECOVERY, REMOVAL , or Refer to BOTTLE, PRESSURIZED COOLANT, REMOVAL .
- Firmly grasp the low beam (2) or high beam (5) bulb base on the back of the front lamp unit housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
- Pull the bulb and base straight out from the keyed opening in the reflector.
