Transmission Oil Cooler Hoses - Trans Cooler To Trans Heater

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the intake air tubing. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 5.7L .

  2. Using the (special tool #9546, Disconnect Tool), disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the transmission oil cooler.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  4. Remove the transmission cooler line bolts securing the transmission cooler line assembly the oil pan.

  5. Using the (special tool #9546, Disconnect Tool), disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the transmission. Remove the transmission oil lines from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

During installation torque the following fasteners to specification:

Oil Cooler Line Bolt 10 N.m (89 In. Lbs.)  -
