Manual Park Lever Cable

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

   2 - Manual Park Release Cable End

2. Disconnect the Manual Park Release (MPR) cable end from the MPR lever.
3. Remove the MPR cable bracket bolts and the MPR cable from the transmission.

4. Remove the cable stays holding the cable to the transmission.
5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

   2 - MPR Cable (Lever side)

6. Disconnect the MPR cable from the MPR lever cable and remove from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

During installation torque the following fasteners to specification:

• Route the MPR cable in the same way as the original MPR cable and attach the cable stays to the transmission.
