Electric Cooling Fan

REMOVAL

Remove the intake air tube. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 5.7L .
Remove the clean air hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 5.7L .
Remove the radiator crossmember. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, RADIATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Disconnect the electric cooling fan wire harness connector.

3 - Lock Tabs

Remove the four electric cooling fan bolts securing the electric cooling fan to the radiator.
Release the lock tabs and remove the electric cooling fan from the top of vehicle.

INSTALLATION

Install the electric cooling fan to the radiator and engage the lock tabs.
Install the four electric cooling fan bolts securing the electric cooling fan to the radiator and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Connect the electric cooling fan wire harness connector.
Install the radiator crossmember. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, RADIATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Install the clean air hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 5.7L .
Install the intake air tube. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 5.7L .
