Known Vehicle Issues

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Listed below are vehicles that have system issues that may cause an incorrect DTC to set which may lead to misdiagnosing the system.

  1. Heavy Duty Trucks - Trucks that are equipped with a Drivers Door Module (DDM) may set the U110E-LOST AMBIENT TEMPERATURE MESSAGE fault when there is an open in the circuitry instead of the P0073-AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH fault. When diagnosing one of these vehicles with the U110E present, always diagnose the entire circuitry and sensor first.
  2. 2018-2019 JL - A short to ground in the AAT Sensor Signal will set the P0073-AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH DTC instead of the P0072-AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW DTC.
  3. 2019 KL - May set the U110E-LOST AMBIENT TEMPERATURE MESSAGE fault when there is an open in the circuitry instead of the P0073-AAT SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH fault. When diagnosing one of these vehicles with the U110E present, always diagnose the entire circuitry and sensor first.
