The fuel tank is constructed of a plastic material. the main functions are for fuel storage and for placement of the fuel pump module. The fuel tank is equipped with fuel and vapor controls that assist the vehicle to pass a full 360° rollover without fuel leakage. The Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery Valve (ORVR) manages the flow of vapor during refueling. It also controls maximum fuel volume of the fuel tank.
