Left Middle Heat Shield

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the left catalytic converter heat shield. Refer to SHIELD, HEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

   2 - Left Middle Heat Shield

   3 -Left Middle Heat Shield Nuts

3. Remove the left middle exhaust heat shield nuts and the left middle exhaust heat shield.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the left middle exhaust heat shield and tighten the left middle exhaust heat shield nuts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
2. Install the left catalytic converter heat shield. Refer to SHIELD, HEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
4. Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair the exhaust leaks as necessary.
