Up/Down And Left/Right
NOTE:
A suitable body sealant should be used between the hinge and the body surface when removing or moving the hinges. Sealant should be applied within 30 minutes of final tightening of the hinge fasteners.
- Loosen the hinge to liftgate fasteners (1).
- Loosen the striker fasteners (1).
- Adjust the liftgate up/down position and tighten the hinge fasteners to the proper torque specifications. Refer to GAP AND FLUSH, SPECIFICATIONS , and Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Confirm the lower liftgate in/out position and tighten the striker fasteners to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
