Fuel Gauge
A fuel gauge is standard equipment on all Instrument Panel Clusters (IPC).
On the Base IPC this gauge (4) consists of a movable gauge needle or pointer controlled by the instrument cluster circuitry and a fixed vertical scale on the cluster overlay on the right side of the 3.5 inch Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) that reads bottom-to-top from E (Empty) to F (Full).
On the Premium IPC this gauge (4) consists of a movable gauge needle or pointer controlled by the instrument cluster circuitry and a fixed horizontal scale in the lower left portion of the 7 inch EVIC that reads left-to-right from E (Empty) to F (Full).
An fuel door location arrowhead, pointed to the right side of the vehicle, is imprinted on the cluster overlay next to the International Control and Display Symbol Fuel icon on the gauge to provide the driver with a reminder as to the location of the fuel filler access. For more information about International Control and Display Symbols. Refer to INTERNATIONAL VEHICLE CONTROL AND DISPLAY SYMBOLS, DESCRIPTION .
