Shield, Splash, Front Wheelhouse: Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the wheel from the side of the vehicle being serviced. Refer to REMOVAL .
3. Remove the fasteners (3) from the rear area of the splash shield (2).

4. On two piece front wheel opening moldings, remove the rivet (1) securing the splash shield to the front fascia.

5. On one piece font wheel opening moldings, remove the rivets (1) securing the splash shield (2) to the front fascia.

6. Remove the fastener (1) securing the splash shield to the sill trim.

7. Remove the fasteners (2) from the front of the splash shield (1).
8. Remove the fasteners (3) securing the splash shield (1) to the fascia.
9. Release the outboard edge of the splash shield (1) from the fender flange.
10. Remove the splash shield (1) from the vehicle.
