Seats, Front: Seat: Removal

NOTE:

The bolts may be a Mortorq® bolt and require a Mortorq® tool bit for removal and installation.

Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to SEATS, FRONT, WARNING .
Position the seat in the full forward position.

Remove the bolt cover (1).

Remove and DISCARD the rear seat fasteners (1) securing the seat (2) to the vehicle.
Move the seat to the full rearward position.
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

Remove and DISCARD the front seat fasteners (1) securing the seat (2) to the vehicle.
Tilt the seat up and unclip and disconnect the wire harness connectors, then remove the seat.
