Center Sleeve

NOTE:

The center headrest sleeve on a slider rear seat can be removed from the top side, with a trim tool.

This procedure applies only to the 60% bench rear seat back.

  1. Remove the 60% bench rear seat back from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT, REAR, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the armrest. Refer to ARMREST, REAR, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the center headrest from the seat back.

  4. Remove the fastener (1), then using a trim tool remove the trim cover (2). Remove both trim covers.

  5. Remove the inner armrest trim cover (1).
  6. Using a trim tool, remove the push fasteners (2).

  7. Open the lower J-strip (1) and unzip (2) both sides of the seat back trim.

  8. Lift the seat back trim and remove the push fasteners (1).

  9. Pull the trim cover (1) back to access the center headrest sleeves. Using a flat bladed tool (2), pry inward on the tabs (3) and remove the center headrest sleeve (4).

    Using the same process, remove the headrest sleeve (5).
