Support, Lumbar, Front: Removal

WARNING:

Disable the airbag system before attempting any component diagnosis or service of the front seats, when equipped with front seat air bags. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the airbag system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the airbag system. Failure to follow these instructions may result in accidental airbag deployment and possible serious or fatal injury.

Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to SEATS, FRONT, WARNING .
Remove the seat back cover. Refer to COVER, SEAT BACK, MANUAL, REMOVAL or COVER, SEAT BACK, POWER, REMOVAL .
NOTE:
It is not necessary to completely remove the cover from the foam.

Remove the fasteners (2).
Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the lumbar motor and loosen the motor from the frame.
Lift and remove the lumbar support (1) from the top hooks.
