Cylinder, Glove Box Lock: Removal
- With the key (1) inserted into the glove box lock cylinder, lift the handle paddle (2).
- Insert an appropriate tool into the retainer tumbler slot as shown. The spring loaded retainer tumbler (1) needs to be depressed for removal.NOTE:
The location of the spring loaded retainer tumbler (1) may be located at the 3, 6, or 9 o'clock position.
- With the tool depressing the lock cylinder spring loaded retainer tumbler, rotate the key (1) clockwise 90 degrees, then remove the glove box lock cylinder (2) with the key.
