Cable, Hood Release: Removal

Remove the push pins (2) and remove the radiator closeout panel (1).

Remove the hood release handle by pushing up on the release (1) to disengage and then pulling rearward on the handle.

Disengage the cable (2) from the hood latch (3).

Release retaining clips/tabs attaching the hood release cable (1) to the left inner frame rail (2).

Disengage rubber grommet at lower dash panel.
From the vehicle interior, pull the cable assembly (1) rearward.
Remove the hood release cable (1) from vehicle.
