Slider Rear Seat

  1. Remove the 60% slider rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT, REAR, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the armrest. Refer to ARMREST, REAR, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the center seat belt fastener (1).

  4. Using a trim tool, release the clips and remove the right side shield (1).

  5. Remove the fastener (2), then lift the left side shield (1) and remove.

  6. Open the lower J-strip (2) and unzip (3) both sides of the seat back trim.
  7. Lift the seat back trim and unclip trim covers (1).

  8. Lift the seat back trim and remove the push fasteners (1).

  9. Remove the fasteners (1) to loosen the armrest support.

  10. If equipped with seat back heat, unclip the wire harness (2) from the seat frame.

  11. If equipped with seat back heat, unclip (2) and disconnect the wire harness connector (3).

  12. Lift the handle (1), remove the fastener then the fold flat handle bezel (2).

  13. Carefully loosen the small J-strips (1) around the handle opening.

  14. Remove the fasteners (1), then the seat belt trim cover (2).

  15. Using a trim tool (1), carefully remove the outboard and center headrest sleeves (2).

  16. Remove the inner armrest trim cover (1).
  17. Remove the seat back cover and the seat back foam as an assembly from the seat back frame.

  18. If necessary to remove the inner side shields (2), remove the fasteners (1) and the inner side shield.

  19. With the seat back cover on a bench, remove the push fasteners (1 and 3), the J-strips (2), then remove the armrest support (4).

  20. Pull the seat back cover (2) away from the seat back foam, releasing the hook and loop fasteners.
  21. Cut all the hog rings and remove the rear seat back cover.
