Set Condition

A short to ground failure is detected if the ASIC indicates a short to ground failure in reaction to the output stage being switched off after an open circuit or short to ground failure detection.
A short to ground or open circuit failure is detected if the commanded duty cycle for the solenoid is 100% and the ASIC indicates the output stage is switched off.
