When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

The TCM supply voltage is within a calibrated range.
The engine speed (CAN message) is greater than or equal to 550 RPM or the turbine speed is greater than or equal to 550 RPM for a calibrated amount of time.
Ignition switch Run position signal is detected via dedicated circuit to TCM.
No ignition switch DTCs set.
No output speed sensor DTCs set.
The Output speed is greater than a calibrated RPM.
No linear solenoid DTCs set.
No on/off solenoid DTCs set.
No hydraulic pressure circuit DTCs set.
No shift range sensor DTCs set.
Shift range indicator position is Reverse.
No turbine speed sensor DTCs set.
The transmission is not currently shifting and passed for a calibrated amount of time (500ms) after shifting.
Transmission sump temperature is greater than -19°C (2.2°F).
No gear ratio DTCs set for any previously commanded gears.
