Glass, Liftgate: Removal: Notes
- Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to STATIONARY GLASS, WARNING .
- Remove liftgate trim panels. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL .
- Remove the spoiler. Refer to SPOILER, REMOVAL .
- Remove rear window wiper arm, if equipped. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors (3).
- Using an assistant and a glass extraction tool (2) or equivalent, cut and separate the urethane adhesive securing the liftgate glass (1) to the liftgate fence.
- Disconnect the heated liftgate glass electrical connectors (1), if equipped.
- Carefully remove liftgate glass.
