CHECK FOR TRANSMISSION SPEED SENSOR DTCS

With the scan tool, read Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
Are any Transmission Speed Sensor DTCs set?

Yes
- Perform the applicable Transmission Speed Sensor DTC procedure(s). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
- Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - 948TE 9HP48 .
No
- Verify the customer did not shift into REVERSE while vehicle was moving forward at high speed.
