Diagnostic Test

PERFORM TCM PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

With the scan tool, attempt to program the TCM with the latest calibrations. Refer to TCM PROGRAMMING - 948TE .
Were you able to program the TCM successfully?

Yes
- Test complete.
- Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - 948TE 9HP48 .
No
- Replace and program the TCM in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, TRANSMISSION CONTROL (TCM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - 948TE 9HP48 .
