Set Condition

- Faulty calculated position:
- The failure is detected if one of the following occurs:
- The calibration data stored at two different locations of the Random Access Memory (RAM) has changed at only one location.
- The initially determined gearbox position (P, R, N or D) after power up which is determined with two different methods has unequal results.
- The calculated gearbox position stored in the buffer does not match the current gearbox position.
- The failure is detected if one of the following occurs:
- Faulty position on interface:
- The failure is detected if the comparison of the commanded position sent on the interface between the shift by wire software and the shift control software to the actual position from the interface is not equal.
