When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

Gear Selector position is in DRIVE.
Transmission Fluid temperature is above a calibrated value.
No clutch slip control functions commanded.
No Input Speed Sensor DTCs set.
Input speed is above a calibrated value.
Valid output speed signal from the Output Speed Sensor or calculated from the wheel speed signal if Output Speed Sensor is not available.
Valid engine speed signal from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
During Gearshifts:
- The output speed and the output speed gradient must be higher than a calibrated value.
