Diagnostic Test

- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC NOTE:
Before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure, remove any ice, snow, mud, dirt, or other obstructions from the front/rear fascia/bumper. Also remove any ice, snow, dirt, mud, or other obstructions from the underside of the Fascia/Bumper surrounding the sensors.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read Park Aid Module DTCs.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- PARK AID SENSOR
- Verify that none of the possible causes mentioned above are present. Repair as necessary.
If none of the possible causes mentioned above are present, view repair.
Repair
- Replace the Park Aid Sensor that caused this DTC to change from active to stored after disconnecting it in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to SENSOR, PARK ASSIST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- Verify that none of the possible causes mentioned above are present. Repair as necessary.
