Theory Of Operation

The Body Control Module (BCM) receives the hardwired input signal from the Clockspring indicating that Horn operation is requested. The BCM provides a ground path through the Horn Relay Control circuit. The Horn Relay Control circuit connects to the Horn Relay, which when energized provides battery voltage to the Horn. The Horn Relay is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC).
