Diagnostic Test

CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH

Attempt to turn the Ignition Key from on to off.
Does the Ignition Key turn form on to off?

Yes
- Test complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Inspect the Ignition Key and the Ignition Switch for any foreign objects that may cause a sticking condition. If no problems are found, replace Ignition Key and Ignition Switch in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to SWITCH, IGNITION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
