Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Siphon the brake fluid from the reservoir. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  3. Disconnect the brake fluid level switch electrical connector (2).

  4. Depress the tang (2) and remove the brake fluid level switch (2).
