Diagnostic Test

CHECK THE TIRE SIZE

This is an informational Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Module receives the vehicle configuration information over the Can Bus. Tire size is stored in the Body Control Module (BCM) and also in the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module.
Inspect the vehicle for any of the following conditions:
- Incorrect tires installed on the vehicle.
- Incorrect tire size written or stored in the BCM or ABS Module.
- DTCs set in the ABS Module.
- Service Bulletins related to the customer concern.
Were any problems found?

Yes
- Repair as necessary.
- Perform the ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- With the scan tool, perform an ACC Alignment procedure to relearn the tire size and to verify the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Module alignment.
- Perform the ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) VERIFICATION TEST .
