Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER DTCS
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read IPC DTCs.
  Are there any IPC DTCs?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read EPS DTCs and record on the vehicle work order.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Start the engine and run for two minutes.
5. Turn the steering wheel from stop to stop.
6. With the scan tool, read EPS DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) in accordance with service information. Refer to MODULE, INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
