Removal And Installation: Removal

- Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE COOLING SYSTEM - 2.4L .
- Reposition the clamp and remove the degas hose (1) from the pressurized coolant bottle.
- Release the retainer and remove the coolant hose (2) from the pressurized coolant bottle.
- Lift the retainers (1a) and slide the pressurized coolant bottle to the left, release the retaining clips (1b).
- Squeeze the retainers (1a) and remove pressurized coolant bottle (1b).
