Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the antenna mast.
  3. Lower the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Disconnect the antenna wire harness connectors (2 and 3).
  5. Remove the fastener (4) securing the antenna.
  6. Remove the antenna assembly (1) from the roof of the vehicle.
