The vehicle is equipped with a combination antenna for AM/FM, Satellite Digital Audio Radio Services (SDARS), Digital Audio Broadcast and navigation signal reception. The antenna's reception capability is dependent on the intended market.
The audio system components are designed to provide audio entertainment and information through the reception, tuning and amplification of locally broadcast radio signals in commercial frequency ranges in its market.
The antenna mast (2) can be serviced separately from the combination antenna base (1) by unscrewing it from the base. The combination antenna base is serviced only as an assembly and must be replaced as a assembly if it is ineffective, inoperative or damaged.
