NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.

Position the amplifier (1b) to the mounting bracket (1c) and install the four fasteners (1a). Tighten the fasteners securely.

Position the assembled amplifier and mounting bracket (2c) and install the three fasteners (2a and 2b). Tighten the fasteners securely.
Connect the amplifier wire harness connectors (1). Position the foam harness protectors in place.
Install the left side quarter panel trim. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
