Diagnostic Test

- CHECK GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX MODULE (TBM2) WIRING
- Disconnect connector of the TBM2. Check the connector status and ensure that the terminals are not damaged, deformed, corroded or disconnected.
Is the connector intact?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Repair or replace the damaged connector. End of diagnosis.
- Disconnect connector of the TBM2. Check the connector status and ensure that the terminals are not damaged, deformed, corroded or disconnected.
- CHECK TBM2 WIRING
- Check for an open circuit or short circuit on CAN C and BH line wiring at the TBM2 connector.
Is there an open circuit or short circuit?
Yes
- Remove the open circuit or short circuit on the wiring. End of diagnosis.
No
- Go To 3
- Check for an open circuit or short circuit on CAN C and BH line wiring at the TBM2 connector.
- CHECK USING DIAGNOSIS EQUIPMENT
- Connect the diagnostic tool to the TBM2 and update the software if a new version is available. Check whether the error is still present.
Is the error still present?
Yes
- Replace the TBM2 in accordance with the Service information. Refer to MODULE, GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- End of diagnosis.
- Connect the diagnostic tool to the TBM2 and update the software if a new version is available. Check whether the error is still present.
