Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX MODULE (TBM2) WIRING 
    1. Disconnect connector of the TBM2. Check the connector status and ensure that the terminals are not damaged, deformed, corroded or disconnected.

      Is the connector intact?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2

      No 

      • Repair or replace the damaged connector. End of diagnosis.
  2. CHECK TBM2 WIRING 
    1. Check for an open circuit or short circuit on CAN C and BH line wiring at the TBM2 connector.

      Is there an open circuit or short circuit?

      Yes 

      • Remove the open circuit or short circuit on the wiring. End of diagnosis.

      No 

      • Go To  3
  3. CHECK USING DIAGNOSIS EQUIPMENT 
    1. Connect the diagnostic tool to the TBM2 and update the software if a new version is available. Check whether the error is still present.

      Is the error still present?

      Yes 

      No
