Removal And Installation: 4X2: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Remove the three brake rotor shield bolts and remove the brake rotor shield.
- Remove the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to HUB AND BEARING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the trailing link bolt (1).
- Remove the rear lower control arm bolt (2).
- Remove the front lower control arm bolt (3) and DISCARD
.
- Remove the rear strut lower bolts (1), and remove the rear knuckle.
