Removal And Installation: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- With a small flat blade tool, release the four retaining clips (1) between the headlamp switch (2) and the switch bezel (3).
- Disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the headlamp switch (1b) and remove from the vehicle.
- Inspect the headlamp switch retaining clips (1a) and switch mounting surface (3).
- If necessary to remove the switch bezel, remove the fasteners (3), then with a flat blade tool release the five retaining tabs (1) and remove the switch bezel (2).
