Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

NOTE:

Make sure the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read ABS DTCs.
Is the DTC active?

Yes
- Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX and perform the U1701-87-Lost Communication with PCM diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
