Theory Of Operation

The Body Control Module (BCM) receives the input from the Rear Fog Lamp Switch, indicating that Rear Fog Lamp illumination is requested. The BCM provides a ground path through the Rear Fog Lamp Feed circuit. The Rear Fog Lamp Feed circuit connects to the Rear Fog Lamp Relay, which when energized provides battery voltage to the Rear Fog Lamps. The Rear Fog Lamp Relay is located in the Power Distribution Center.
