Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the steering column. Refer to COLUMN, REMOVAL .

  2. Using a hacksaw, cut a slot into the head of the shear bolt. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the shear bolt (1).
  3. Remove the ignition switch with steering lock (2).
