Axle Seal Removal - Fwd Both Sides - 4WD / AWD Left Side

- Remove the halfshaft from the vehicle. Refer to FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
and REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.NOTE:
Keep the punch tool in the center of the seal to avoid damage to the transmission housing.
- Using a suitable punch tool (1) and hammer, punch a hole in the metal armature inside the seal (2).
- Thread the sheet metal screw into the seal (1).
- Tap outward on the slide hammer (2) until the seal (1) comes out of the seal bore.
