Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

If installing a new transmission, remove the shipping cap from the vent.

The automatic transmission is joined to the engine outside of the vehicle and then installed into the vehicle as an assembly with the engine. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 1.3L or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 2.4L .
