Shifter Cable Adjustment

- Place the shifter lever in Park (P) (1) and remove the ignition key.
- Using a trim stick, loosen the shifter bezel (2). Disconnect the wire harness connectors.
- Using a trim stick, release the shifter boot from the shifter bezel (2), and lift slightly.
- Using a trim stick, loosen the floor console bezel (1) and remove the floor console bezel (1).
- Release the shifter cable adjustment lock (1).
- Pull the manual lever (1) on the transmission fully forward to the park detent position.
- Lock the adjustment by pushing the shifter cable adjustment lock (1) down on the shift cable.
- Install the floor console bezel.
- Verify the gear shift cable adjustment.
