Rear Muffler: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE

- Loosen the exhaust pipe clamp nut (1).
- Place a suitable hydraulic lift (1) under the muffler.
- Remove the center bolts (2) securing the lower rear fascia.
- Remove the bolts (3) and the exhaust isolators.
- Loosen the exhaust pipe clamp nut (1a) and remove the front and rear exhaust muffler assembly (1b and 1c) from front to rear.
- Separate the front muffler from the rear muffler.
