Exhaust Emission Testing

Execute the exhaust emission test with the vehicles engine warm and at idle, with all engine load OFF (for example A/C) and test at specified engine speed and time.

NOTE:

If the shape of the exhaust pipe does not allow the full insertion of the probe into the pipe, a fault reading will occur. It will be necessary to add a special tube extension sealed on the exhaust pipe to retrieve an actual reading.

Wait for the indication that the exhaust gas analyzers are stabilized and follow the gas analyzers directions.
Check that the CO2 content is within the prescribed values. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
