Removal And Installation: Removal

- Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- With a suitable tool, remove the cover (1) from the pulley on the generator.
- Insert the special tool (1a) into the splines of the pulley (1b).
- Insert a hexagonal socket (2a) in the generator shaft.
- Lock the rotation of the generator using the hexagonal socket (2a) in the generator shaft, then install wrench (1a) onto the special tool inserted into the splines of the pulley.
- Using the wrench (1a) remove the pulley (2b) from the generator shaft.
