Glass, Sunroof, Front: Adjustments

NOTE:
If the sunroof cannot be opened using the switch (1a), do not persist in using the switch, in order not to damage the sunroof motor.
- If possible, using the sunroof switch (1a), open the sunroof front glass to the full open end of travel.
- If the sunroof will not open, remove the sunroof motor. Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF, DUAL PANE, REMOVAL .
- With the use of two operators in position, one on each of the two sides of the sunroof front glass, carefully slide the sunroof front glass to the rear end of travel.NOTE:
Use care when sliding the sunroof glass rearward to avoid jamming due to misalignment.
- Check that the sunroof glass is located at the full mechanical end of travel on both the sliding guides.
- If necessary, using a measuring tape or equivalent, check the points of symmetry of the sunroof glass in relation to the sunroof frame.
- Loosen the sunroof screws and position the glass as necessary to achieve proper alignment. Then securely tighten the sunroof glass screws.
- Install the sunroof motor. Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF, DUAL PANE, REMOVAL .
