Key Is Hard To Turn

STEP WHAT TO DO OK (no problem found) PROBLEM FOUND CORRECTION
1 CHECK FUNCTIONALITY OF THE LOCK CYLINDER WITH SECOND KEY  Continue to Step 2 The movement is still restricted Replace the lock cylinder
Verify the correct operation of the lock cylinder, using the second key in the cylinder
2 CHECK FUNCTIONALITY OF THE LOCK CYLINDER  Continue to Step 3 If any signs of forced entry on the lock cylinder Replace the lock cylinder
Check for signs of tampering on the glove box lock cylinder.
3 CHECK FUNCTIONALITY OF THE LOCK CYLINDER  Proceed to Step 4  Turning torque more than 0.3 N.m Replace the lock cylinder
Through the opening of the lock cylinder, spray a small amount of lubricant (avoid contact with the aesthetic parts).
Try to operate the lock mechanism; it is recommended not to exceed a torque of 2 N.m to avoid damaging the key.
4 CHECK ALIGNMENT slats OF THE LOCK CYLINDER  End of diagnosis Slats are not aligned properly Replace the lock cylinder
Pull the lock and, after inserting the key, verify the complete alignment of the slats
