Valve, Oil Pressure Relief: Inspection

  1. Inspect the pressure relief valve (4) for scoring, gouging, or debris.
  2. Inspect the pressure relief valve bore in the pump for scoring, gouging, or debris.
  3. If the pressure relief valve or pump bore is damaged, install a new balance shaft/oil pump assembly.
